Progress

The greenhouse is exploding with plants.  The seeds have been successful again this year and I'll have enough plants to share.  We are starting a small vegetable garden at our elementary school and I'm really exciting to be able to donate some of what I have.  Today I direct seeded some of the flowers and will put the sprouted seeds in the ground next week.  The hardening off process can take up to a week, depending on the weather, so I'm shooting to have everything in the ground by the end of next week.  Since we live in Texas, I'm sure we'll have one more freeze but the plants will be small enough to easily cover for a night or two.  It was in the 20s three days ago and will be in the 70s today.  It's tough to grow in Texas.
